Barbara has been in the dental field since 1991, first as a dental assistant, later becoming a dentist. Her experience is very evident and lends to her ability to provide quality and professional dental care.
Barbara is proud to boast being a “virtual” native. She came to Colorado with her family when she was only 4, as her dad’s last military station was at Ft. Carson, Colorado. Barbara has proudly remained in state for all of her schooling.
Her current memberships include the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and one of the nation’s oldest study clubs, the Colorado Prosthodontic Society where she now serves on the board. Barbara volunteers her time as a speaker host for the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention, Colorado Dental Association Finance Committee as well as gives back to the community by helping with the Colorado Mission of Mercy. Barbara values the opportunity to continue learning and takes advantage of that whenever possible.

I have been in the dental field since 1996 first as a dental assistant then becoming a dental hygienist. I have a passion for serving people. I love being able to educate and encourage every patient that comes my way. Through the years I have had the great pleasure of building lifelong relationships with my coworkers and patients alike. I am looking forward to meeting you soon!

I’m born and raised in Colorado, where I’ve spent my life surrounded by beautiful snowy mountain tops, but I have to admit- snow has never been my favorite! If you asked me about my ideal day, I’d choose to be a lizard sunbathing on a beach 24/7, enjoying the warmth and sunshine.
It’s been amazing working with vibrant colleagues who have made my work environment feel like a true team effort, and seeing the level of dedication for patient care and education. Having spent numerous years as a caregiver to my family- both in the past and currently- I understand the importance of providing comfort, support and clear communication to patients. I look forward to continuing to grow, build trust with patients and contribute to a nurturing dental team.

Having come from a hot desert, I enjoy spending my days doing anything outside of the house, taking in all of the greenery and nice weather that I’m not used to. You’ll always find me thrifting, writing or going to concerts. I’m truly living a life that I love and creating long-lasting memories with my friends and colleagues!
I am blessed to have found Swankhouse Dental. They have taken me in and given me a sense of family in my new home. I can truly say this place doesn’t feel like “just a job”. It’s an incredibly welcoming environment full of women who care about what they do- who put their hearts into making sure their patients are taken care of. I couldn’t picture myself anywhere else!
